Taxis- There are taxis waiting to take you anywhere on the island at the airport. There are also taxi stands in Christiansted on King Street and in Frederiksted near fort Frederik. All taxis approved by the Taxi Commission will have a rate card posted. Also authorized taxis will have a “TP” in the license plate.

Availability

Car rental- Getting around on St. Croix is very easy. Locals are courteous and friendly drivers and will often stop to let you out ahead of them. One of the most preferred methods to get around by frequent visitors is by car rental. We recommend Judi of Croix .They are nice folks who will pick up and drop off your car with a minimum of hassle.

American Airlines, US Air and Delta Airlines have direct flights to St Croix (STX) from the U.S. Mainland. Many carriers fly into nearby San Juan,Puerto Rico (SJU). From there local hop carriers American Eagle, Cape Air and others connect to St Croix.
